Jeff Booth is a fourth-year English and Philosophy double major. He was born in Ohio but spent his early years in the slums of Jersey. He returned to Ohio in the middle of 3rd grade, a street-smart kid with a penchant for arson. In the 4th grade he won a trip to Florida on the radio. His life remained uneventful until his election to the temporary position of Vice-President for Spring Quarter in 2010 and his subsequent reelection for the 2010-2011 school year. Jeff Booth enjoys the cinema, actively engaging in and viewing various sporting events, and Sporcling (Sporcle.com for those who are not privy, you can thank him later). He plans to attend law school (hopefully) at The Ohio State University so that he can maintain his football tickets...among other reasons. You can contact him at booth.131@osu.edu
Treasurer: Justin Hanson
Justin Hanson is a senior English major at The Ohio State University. Justin joined Sigma Tau Delta in the winter of 2010 and considers joining STD one of his best college decisions. “I absolutely love STD,” said Justin, “before I joined the club, I knew very few fellow English majors. Through STD, I was able to interact with people who are just as passionate about literature and education as I am.” Aside from treasuring with STD, Justin is also involved with the Undergraduate Research Office (URO) and the Student Advisory Committee (SAC). When he is not working on his own studies, Justin enjoys helping other students with their research. “I think undergraduate research is an amazing way to take charge of your education and learn about the things you are interested in. Helping others with their research has been a great experience for me,” said Justin. Aside from writing and literature, Justin enjoys history, film, boxing, and fitness. After graduation, Justin hopes to attend graduate school so he can one day teach at the collegiate level. You can contact him at hanson.181@osu.edu
