Annoucements:
4/7/11 - Spring News
Sorry about the delay, I was ill the past few days.
Updates have been applied to the website, most importantly the calendar. If you wish to buy a t-shirt or honors cords please bring your money to the meeting. Cords are $9 and t-shirts are an estimated $12.
Don't forget to pay your dues. $50 dollars for new initiates (one-time) and $20 dollars for returning members.
I don't think you want Justin going Joe Pesci à la Goodfellas on you.
Also, for those of you who do not know, Sigma Tau Delta has a scholarship; link with the information after the jump.
However, please note that there is actually no critical analysis necessary regardless of what the department description says.

2/17/11 - Upcoming
Friday is READ-A-THON. Head over to the Union, outside Great Hall 1 to sit down and read for a cause. Next week we have a general meeting on TUESDAY the 22nd. For anyone interested, Kyle Minor will be having a appearance after the meeting at 7PM. But that's not all, on WEDNESDAY the 23rd we will be going Ice skating. You can contact Kelsey for the details, or just come to the meeting.
Cheers!
2/1/11 - For the week of that Super Bowl
There's no STD meeting this week, but we have plenty of other things to keep us occupied!
First off, there is the Cazuela's fundraiser TOMORROW, Monday, 2/7. Print off the coupon sheets Justin sent everyone, stop on by Cazuela's for some lunch or dinner, and Sigma Taue Delta gets 10% of the proceeds. This is our only fundraiser for the quarter, so we'd love it if you could come by! Justin will be there from 5-10 p.m. with extra coupon sheets in case you forgot yours.
GRAB YOUR FLYERS HERE.
On Thursday, 2/10, at 7 p.m. is our Valentine's Day party! Come to the Great Hall Meeting Room 1 in the Union armed with your cheesy (or otherwise) poetry compositions for our competition (Wright is the reigning champion-try to dethrone him!). We will also be doing arts and crafts, eating pizza and hanging out like the literature-loving ballers that we are. This is the easiest opportunity for a social point that you'll have for the quarter, so why not earn it while hanging out with all of your Sigma Tau Delta Valentines!
2/1/11 - Site Updated
New STD of the month, and members list updated. There are also new gallery images. Also, there is a meeting today at 6PM, but if you're a part of the buddy system be sure to show up early!
If you haven't voted on which T-shirt you want, you can do so by clicking on...
THE OBNOXIOUSLY LARGE LINK.
When it asks for your name please put your full name. :)

1/26/11 - Tees Tease
Oh, here comes the update I promised at 11:23 PM! Phew. Talk about cutting it close. I blame the slow interwebs at my apartment. Anyways this is your first look at your choices for t-shirts this year. All of the text should be legible, if you can't read it send me an email, and I'll take care of it. You'll all get to vote on which shirt you want to be our offical shirt of the year. We'll narrow it down to three, then go from there. Take some time to make your choice while I try and come up with a suitable voting system.
See you all at bowling tomorrow.

All together now. 3-2-1 "Awwwww."

10/06/10 - A quick message from your Social Chair
Hello from your friendly neighborhood social chair!
Autumn Quarter is full of some of my favorite events of the year. You
can look forward to my saying that every quarter, really, but autumn
is especially excellent. As we all know, Buckeyes love one thing above
all else: literature, naturally. But after that comes football. On
October 16th you can combine two loves and join Sigma Tau Delta as we
tailgate the Wisconsin game. After that, start planning your terrific
literary costume for our annual Halloween Party on October 23rd. You
may just win a fabulous prize. Throughout the quarter you can attend
our delightful mini-book clubs (after the meetings on 10/12, 11/2, and
11/15) for some extra points. Finally, we’ll finish the quarter and
send you on to winter break with a Holiday Social at our meeting on
November 29th. Start thinking of cookie recipes, all you bakers out
there in internet land.
Hope to see you there,
Kelsey
10/06/10 - Meet the Professors!
Our second meeting of the quarter will
October 12th! The professor meet and greet before hand starts at 5:30PM. There will be sandwiches, (Jimmy Johns!) chips, and cookies! The general meeting will start around 6PM. Hope to see you all there!
In other news, the executive board page has been updated and the calendar has also been uploaded to the site. If the embedded version is too tiny for you to read, you can click on the link which will enlarge it in a different window. Oh, and there's a little section off to the left of this text. ;)
Don't forget to join our facebook group here. There's going to be a dedicated link later on.
9/29/10 - Just a Reminder
Don't forget that our first meeting will be on October 4th at 6PM in Denny 311!
9/22/10
The new website is almost live! Areas of the site are intentionally left blank as the Executive board is currently discussing upcoming features. Feel free to report any errors to sigmataudeltaosu@gmail.com
